Fees in Class Command are built from fee heads and fee structures.
- A fee head is a type of fee, for example Tuition Fee, Annual Charges or Exam Fee.
- A fee structure sets how much each class pays for each fee head.
Step 1: Create fee heads
- Go to Fees Management > Fee Heads.
- Add each type of fee your school charges.
- Save.
Step 2: Create fee structures
- Go to Fees Management > Fee Structures.
- Choose the class.
- Add the fee heads that apply and the amount for each.
- Save.
- Repeat for every class.
Transport fees
If your school charges transport by bus stop, you do not need to add a transport amount to class fee structures. Set the monthly fare on each stop under Transport Management > Stops, and transport fees are added during fee generation for students who use transport.
Tips
- Keep the number of fee heads small and clearly named. Parents see them on invoices.
- Review fee structures at the start of every session.
- Fee settings for your school are under System Settings > Fee Settings.
